Functionally?  We raised the board up in order to adjust the board for control of the juice flow… Raising UP the board also allows accessible handles for carrying or cleaning, the capability to eliminate board wobble/spin or “clunk,” and strong earth magnets for knife management, … a collection and redistribution bowl… and storage underneath… ! 

The Raise IT Up! Logo?  The arrow shows the direction to spin the foot to raise UP that corner… yeah… most people miss that!
