The ritual deserves better

Towels around the board.
Juice on the counter.
Good meat, compromised.

Every grocery-store board does the same thing: a shallow groove that overflows, sides that drip, a mess that forces you to choose between finishing the meal and cleaning up. You're better than the tool you're using.

Juice waste

The liquid gold you're supposed to redistribute runs off the edge instead.

Towel gymnastics

Rolled towels as a dam. That's not cooking — that's apology.

Wobble

Cheap rubber feet, no grip. A slipping board is a dangerous board.

Presentation

You serve like a professional. Your board should look like one.

Slicing a tomahawk on The True Board while the juice runs down the groove toward the drop hole
The dual-slope system

Capture. Control.
Redistribute every drop.

Big, deep grooves that allow flow — not just capacity.

Four stages, one direction. The board tilts toward the groove, the groove tilts toward the drop hole, and the drop hole feeds the bowl. Slice the whole brisket and the counter stays dry.

  2. 2Groove slope — carved to run one way
  3. 3Drop hole — with a cork plug when you want to hold it
  4. 4Collection bowl — removable stainless steel

The collection bowl

Watch the liquid gold
go back on the meat.

From juice waste to juice mastery.

The bowl sits under the drop hole, not beside the board. Slice, let it run, then lift the bowl and pour every drop back over the cut. Removable, stainless, dishwasher-safe.

Steel handles built for a 21-pound board.

Built-in magnets hold your knife flat to the board — no rolling, no reaching. Ergonomic stainless handles make the Full Size an easy carry from the kitchen to the smoker and back.

Adjustable feet, elevated build

Zero wobble.
Zero noise.

Four feet, one solid stance — on any counter.

Dial each foot to level the board and set the slope. Elevated off the surface so air moves underneath — it dries fast and stays mold-resistant by design. Storage below is a bonus.

Questions

Shipping & returns
Free Economy shipping within the continental United States (5–8 business days); Hawaii and Alaska may include a carrier surcharge. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery on unused boards in their original packaging, and return shipping is the customer's responsibility. Custom-engraved boards are personalized and can't be returned. Questions: info@thetrueboard.com
Which size should I get?
Full Size (24" × 18") is the whole-brisket, Sunday-cook board with steel handles. Compact (14" × 14") runs the same juice system in a footprint that fits any counter, with carved side grips instead of handles. Same teak, same bowl, same feet. Not sure? In the 3D view above, tap View it on your counter to see either size at real scale in your kitchen.
Can I have it engraved?
Yes. Check Engrave it above the buy button and type up to 20 characters: a name, a date, initials. We laser-engrave it in the top corner of the board for $25. Engraved boards are personalized, so they can't be returned.
How do I care for it?
Hand wash, dry standing on its feet, and oil it with walnut oil every few weeks. Never the dishwasher, never soaking. The bowl is dishwasher-safe.
What is the teak, exactly?
FSC-certified, Rainforest Alliance certified teak — naturally oily and water-resistant, which is why it lives outdoors on boats. Each board is oiled and hand-finished in the USA.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes. Shop Pay splits any board into 4 interest-free payments at checkout — 4 × $87.50 for the Full Size, 4 × $62.50 for the Compact.
Is it patented?
The dual-slope juice system is patent-pending. No other board captures, controls, and redistributes juice this way.
